I mean it completely shuts down the PC and I have to restart. The game shuts down my computer, usually while I'm starting a new game. But I have yet to be able to play them on any of my three PC's, or my Mac. Just bought this game and all the DLC packs. However, if I open up the side of the case and focus an extra fan on the inside, Trove runs with no crashes for as long as I want it to, only reinforcing that there is a heating or air circulation issue going on here. I've also had other games crash after a short period as well, the most recent game being Trove. This is leading me to believe that this portion of the motherboard could be my issue, because even after replacing the thermal pad, I continue to have this issue. Hell, the chip made a perfect indentation in the thermal pad, with the rest of it still being nice and full. The sink over my AMD FX-9590 chip (which is the hottest one currently) did not look too good the motherboard has only been in use for just under 6 months, and that chip managed to burn straight through the thermal pad to the heatsink, leaving only a hair-thin flake between the chip and the heatsink. ![]() ![]() I did however decide to check out my heatsinks. I unfortunately do not have an extra video card to test this with.
